Darkwood is the Neofolk project of Henryk Vogal, a proud German and excellent songwriter and musician. His music often touches on the themes of national identity and pride, most impressivly on "Torn Nation," where he explores doubt in national identity after the horrors of WWII. Beautiful stuff and veyr addictive.
