Falconer are a Power Metal band with Folk and Viking Metal influences, not surprisingly so, as Falconer contains two members of Mithotyn. Unlike many Power Metal bands, the vocals and riffs don't fall into limpid floweriness; Falconer's vocalist is powerful and incredible and their riffs are powerful yet catchy. Northwind is quite possibly their best release to date.
